PROJECT MANAGER/SENIOR GEOLOGIST — LARAMIE, WYEmail Troy Summers
Troy Summers has over sixteen years of experience as a project manager, associate geologist and/or draftsman for various mining, engineering, energy development, water resource and environmental projects. Troy currently manages projects involving hydrologic monitoring, permitting (NPDES, UIC, ESA, SWPPP, SPCC, HASP, SSI, QAPP and SAP) and environmental database design/management. He holds degrees in Drafting from Sheridan College and Geology and Environment & Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming. Fieldwork experience includes groundwater monitoring (level, low-flow, micro-purge, no-purge, passive diffusion and volumetric purge with dedicated/non-dedicated submersible pumps and bailers), surface and discharge water monitoring (automated sampler, portable flume and ultrasonic, magnetic and electromagnetic current meters), soil sampling (hand auger and push probe), geologic mapping, test pits, pump tests (constant, variable, step-drawdown and slug), percolation tests, land survey (GPS and conventional) and drilling (hollow stem auger, air rotary, down hole hammer, mud rotary and direct push), logging, installing and developing both monitoring and production wells.
