John Berry has 39 years’ experience in mine-related wildlife/reclamation issues, environmental permitting, and NEPA document preparation. John has acted as wildlife/reclamation coordinator for projects associated with Wyoming and Montana surface coal mining and is familiar with both Wyoming and Montana surface mining regulatory policy. He also has experience with developing and reviewing NEPA documents such as Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments for coal, uranium mining, and oil and gas development and Categorical Exclusions for the Wyoming Department of Transportation. John has participated in and coordinated numerous wetland delineation projects in Wyoming and Montana for private and governmental clients, in accordance with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers 1987 Wetlands Delineation Manual. John is a Certified Wildlife Biologist and is certified in wetland delineation according to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers certification program. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Wildlife and Conservation Management from the University of Wyoming.
