Entry-Level Geologist or Geologic Engineer, Sheridan, WY

Description: This is a career path position, culminating in professional registration. Initial activities will consist primarily of fieldwork comprising drilling supervision (air-rotary, mud-rotary, and hollow-stem auger), well installation, pumping tests and geologic mapping. Office duties will consist of preparation of lithologic logs, geologic cross-sections, and geologic reports.

Requirements: MS in geology, hydrogeology, or geologic engineering preferred, but will consider well-qualified BS candidates.

Additional Information: Ideal candidate will have emphasis in sedimentary geology with course work in groundwater hydrology, geochemistry, and engineering. Successful candidate will be mentored by four Professional Geologists with over 90 years of combined experience. Some travel is required and must have a valid driver's license. This position is available immediately.
